I liked the tree depiction of entry 1 more than the flower of entry 7. Now this is going to sound weird..but four women viewed this and it reminded them of a view from the ob/gyn (to say it delicately). Another still sees a peacock. I'm fighting for it because I see the adoption triad.
John..I and another loved #25. (#26 didn't work) I would go with it today. But we are not the target market....and the adoption professionals and adoptive mom didn't like the concept at all. I'm not sure why. My job is marketing, and I could see it being easy to use in collateral materials. But ultimately, I have to connect to my target, so I must defer to their opinions.
It looks like the powers that be are going in a more literal direction. Since those type of parent/child icons seem to be well represented, I won't try to reinvent the wheel at this point. I'll leave a couple up for reference in case there's a change of heart (no pun...) If you still like the design after a week, you could keep me on your blue-ribbon list (non-winning finalists still get a point for effort, lol).
you got some more support! The newer design #82 had the flower too small. I liked the original proportions. Can we see it in green and teal or greenish/aquas.
The size is actually larger than 82, but not quite as big as the original. I can increase is back to the original if you like. Also, these newer designs are all intended to be 2-color (1 color+black). #25 is a three color design. If I color the center heart "more" it would be a tint of the main color, and will actually cause it to stand out less. If you're looking for more pop there, I can add a new third color if you like.
Input from two of our focus group members They liked #31 if the tree was closed more and the design was less subtle to pop more. They liked the colors and font of #120. They liked that you showed the triad that is very important to our target, and liked the branches as hands holding up the triad. I didn't see that (the hands) so I guess it WAS subtle
Not sure exactly what you mean by "closed more." If you mean closer together, I can do that, and make a few more tweaks to give some more pop. The color scheme of #120 poses some problems when trying to blend them in the tree design, but I'll put up some ideas.
