i'm trying another image...the arrows are curling like waves, you have been mentioning waves, which are one common thing people relate to in boating. The arrows signify guidance as for the "guidebook"..
Wow - thanks for all of the new designs and ideas.
The pointing? Not so much for me - it makes it seem too complex and a little square.
I do like the new single "wave". I put it near the top. It's in the running.
Here's something to try...
The text still seems a little spread apart - there's a lot of extra space between the characters. It looks almost like it was just typed on the screen. What about tightening up that space, changing the size, etc. and make it a little tighter? Does that make sense?
i don't believe you have this version of two curly arrows and tight font...if there's anything more i can do to perfect this for you, between now and the completion of the contest, please let me know...i'll be around this weekend. It's been a pleasure working with you and your feedback is like no other. It's been exciting working on your logo, good luck and hope you pick something you can enjoy for a long time. BTW, i feel my design works best as an iphone application...thank you and don't hesitate to get in touch.
I've been showing the symbols around to a few others. It's a nice design - I really like the whole path we went through to get there. If possible, could you try a different font for the slogan (#3 and #6)? Others thought the capitals looked stretched out - like the "Th" in The and the "I" in Interactive - it looks oddly stretched. I think that would make it look a little more pleasing.
You've done an excellent job - thank you for all of the designs and comments. We'll see what others think in the next couple of days. Again though, I'm really very happy with the results you've come up with.
First, no one has put in more effort than you for our contest. I truly appreciate and recognize the effort that you made. For whatever reason, the consensus is that your designs just don't fit with the message we're trying to give. It's not that your designs are bad or unprofessional. If anything, they are some of the best we've seen. They've consistently been at the top of what we like visually. They're just not right for us and our business.
Please don't remove any of your designs. I can guarantee that no matter what, you're going to end up with a lot of points when our contest is over.
Honestly, thank you so much for everything you've done.
