Simple, strong logo which will be easy to place on garments or printed materials. Let me know if you'd like to see other colours or typefaces. Jason

Thanks for such a quick response!

We think that #1 has too much of a "military" look. We definitely don't want to go in that direction. Our target audience is into enjoying their boat and making adventure happen in a safe, fun way.

I don't really like the "A" in #3.

#2 is an interesting idea - sort of looks like a road moving off into the distance (although roads aren't as appropriate as the ocean or something water-related). Remember that we're a guidebook with reviews - we help with planning, especially in figuring out where to go and how to get there.

One other thing - our users access our site over the internet - obviously. But they also access it on their boat - almost every one of our users has internet on their boat - this is something I should have mentioned in the original description. Our "guidebook" is especially innovative because it is connected - review are live, fuel prices are current, etc.

Hi - OK all noted thanks. What about #3 it is a C and an A combined to make an eye looking out surrounded by a compass - conveys direction direction and foresight.

I see what you mean in #3. The "A" looks funny there though. The foresight is good symbolism.

Will the small parts of the compass work on embroidery? That's something I'd want to ask the embroidery company.

Hi - another concept for you. Easy to reproduce on any materials.

Thanks for the new design. There's a lot that I like about it. I might be interested in something like that for another use after this contest is over - I'll have to contact you about it.

For now, please look at the new general comment about the "book" concept. I'm not sure that it is giving enough of a boating look although again, I do like yours for other uses.

Wow - thanks for the new designs.

I like your ideas with the font and making the Active slightly italic - it makes it look, well, active. Nice.

I like #131. The waves are always a good idea, especially three of them (there's this internal notion that there are three "waves" of what we're doing). That wave looks a little blank though - it needs more? Or is there a way to turn that wave into something else? I like the symbol - it's a really good abstract idea. I'm not sure what it needs. I like the image but I don't love that logo yet. I'll put it on a hat later too.

Neither of us follows #130. It's a pleasing design but it doesn't say boating to me.

For #129 we're split. I think it looks like a swan (which isn't terrible but it's a little too feminine). My partner likes it. Again, the wave idea is a good one. Is there a way to make it stronger?

I love the idea of having a small symbol within the logo because it allows us to put it into application icons and tie it to our web site and brand better. Anything that has that has an advantage. All of your new designs give that.

Please try different colors! I always thought the powder-blue, low contrast colors were a little light. Once I started rating images, everyone only used those colors! Yikes! I'm not stuck on any colors at all - anything is OK.

Really nice work - thank you.

Nice options - thanks for #172 and #173. My partner is out of town and hasn't seen the last couple of days worth of designs. When I get more feedback, I'll post something.

After showing the designs to other people, a number of them like the symbol in #155. It's probably the strongest symbol of them all. No one loves the font used though. Do you have any ideas about what can be done with that?

Also, forget anything about any colors that have been used before - by you or anyone else! What do you think would be the best color or colors to use? Think boating, guidebook, internet, etc.

Thanks for the color ideas. I'm not so worried about color with your design. It's all about your symbol and general design. Everyone thinks your symbol looks the strongest.

Thanks!
