I can put a glass floor on the icon image, and see how that looks, but since i have the opportunity i'd like to ask, how exactly will the layout of the logo appear on the website? Since that will be the most important static placement?
Other than that, i think from yoru interest in this logo is you want to exemplify the iconic symbol of accelerated physics,
i will put a glass floor but your feedback on the dimensions of the website would be most appreciated thus allowing me to think of the best placement possible for wording and so forth. thanks again spiro
the same type font that was with the other logos, but i wanted to show you how it looks compared to the type font of the current first place ranked logo for variation in visibility
horizontal placement, again the notion of small font lettering and an overpowering icon is to represent more of the icon, thus the icon represents the wording rather than the wording representing the icon, the original idea you had on your brief was the pictorial illustration thus if i am correct that's what is so appealing with this icon because it does represent accelerated physics, in other words your version of the nike swoosh.
I wanted to give the icon a representation on it's own (this is just to exemplify) that the power is behind the icon itself, representing what was mentioned in the brief and the sample provided through the link with the illustration, thus the icon itself represents the words accelerated physics, its what will be memorable and recognizable, thus any variations of the word placements is secondary to the actualy icon mark. The other option is to also make a "wordmark" for accelerated physics that woulud compliment the icon. let me know if you would like to consider those options... Since the competition is ending in 8hours and the current time is 12am my time, let me know and in the morning i can make any other adjustments. All the best Spiro
#205, #208, #209, #210 and #212 are very nice. I think we prefer the under/over placement and that font (compared to #206 where the font does not look as good).
I don't have an actual placement for the website yet. Typically I tend to do upper left or left side, near the top third of the page. This is a site that I do for a friend of mine, I plan to use something close to this same layout.
Hi there, the logo from the americanboatcenter the dimensions of that logo is 210 width by 92 height, the logo you have in first place is 190 width by 105 height with the glass for it's about 120 height, thus it's at it's approximity,
Just so you have an idea of what it will look like from the sample website you provided for me to look at, your looking at a final size for the website around 190-200 width by 105-120 for heigh depending with or without glass floor.
however these adjustments can be made once you've made your decision thanks again for the opportunity. spiro
