#4 & #5 - designs with palm trees against an evening sky with reflections of the trees in water. There is a lot of text to be included here. I wasn't sure which parts could be emphasized more. Any feedback is welcome.

#4 and #5. Really like your approach and your colors. I agree it's a lot of text for any logo, but you're working well with it. By the way, the reflection in water is not great here because Palm Springs is the desert. It would be perfect if the location was Florida but I'm glad you called my attention to it. Instead of the flat horizon, would mountain be too much. It's not flat in California as it is in Florida. This area is mountainous and desert with palm trees as opposed to beach and tropical palm trees. I think I like the slogan in close proximity to the words 20th Anniversary. I'm torn on whether to feature "20th Anniversay Celebrate the Past Embrace the Future or the organization's name. Let me think on that one. Keep going.

#5. The shape is probably more usable than #4, but I really like #4. I will be getting some additional input . I'd like to see the flatness addressed with mountains or something. Without adding more text for Palm Springs, CA, the pictorial as it is now says Miami or Florida, not California or Arizona or desert. I'm loving your work. Thank you for playing with us.

Thanks for the feedback. #8 has desert palms, a slightly lighter pink and a different arrangement for the type including the location name. I was surprised about what you said about the reflection. I Googled Palm Springs and there are palm trees next to water there.

Looking at design #8 again, I think the palm trees could be a little less high perhaps.

#23 - palms trees reduced in size slightly and a different typeface option for Palm Springs etc.

#27 - another version with two more palm trees added.

I still like #8 better than #27 but yes lower the 2 palm trees. The extra palm trees compete with the mountain. Can you change the words to Celebrating the Past - Embracing the Future. I'm getting more comments and we will be making our final selection by January 9. If we select your logo will you be able to provide it for me in multiple ways - l ike just the image with our name, just the texts in separate jpgs? 20th Anniversary just alone? Thanks again for all this work. Happy New Year 2012 to you. Gail

Hi Gail and a Happy New Year.

#38 - this version has the smaller palm trees and the altered wording. I have kept the wording under Anniversary to the same width it was before which means the text is slightly smaller (because of the extra letters). Do you think this is OK or would you rather have the text the same size it was before and extending to a larger width.

It will be OK to supply the separate JPEGs.

Hi Gail,

Thanks for choosing my design and I have uploaded the final files for your approval. If everything is OK, then on the LogoTournament site please click "Approve" link under My Account > My Ended contests.

Also, if you have any special requirements for other file types, then please let me know. You mentioned that you would also like parts of the design separated. Did you want the image with Academy etc., 20th Anniversary, and the rest of the text as separate files, or each line of text as a separate file?
