What We Do
AACDC is charged with implementing the Diversity Plan for employees in Academic Affairs at Texas A&M University. The responsibilities include: researching best practices and strategies for continuous improvement in recruitment, hiring, selection, retention and promotion of groups identified in the University Diversity Plan; identifying and implementing Division-wide initiatives and addressing issues related to climate and diversity; serving as a resource to non-academic units in the Division in the pursuit of their diversity goals; and other climate and diversity activities.
