Hello, my name is Ben Martinek, and I would like to present you with my entries for your competition.
I opted for a simple, clean approach to deliver your message to your clients. These logos don't try to explain what your company does, but it tells how it does it. They identify your company as a solid performer that offers no nonsense and means business. At the same time, these logos have a sleek, understated look about them, that will appeal to your target audience.
I'm hundred percent sure about my entries, but you are the client and I am open to any suggestions.
Don't forget to check out www.benjaminmartinek.com/absolutions/ for better views of my entries, this site's previews don't do them justice.
Just a comment, I generally don't include slogans in a logo because it has to work clean on it's own, the slogan can be added later. It's not always a very good idea to include it anyway, as it often clutters the logo and customers feel like the message is being forced on them.
#41, one of my favorite submissions so far, got a comment from another company member of "could it be made to look less like a coffee cup?". And damn if they aren't right - it does kind of look like a coffee cup. :)
Do you think there is anything you can do to alter it a bit without ruining the clean look?
I submit this again, I'm sorry it got deleted, it's not my fault.
I heard the comments about a coffee mug, frankly every logo will ultimately resemble this or that to someone, and when that someone points it out, you'll always see a coffee mug. The logo is far above any other entry in this competition, so consider the pro's and cons yourself. I tried to adjust it but even the slightest adjustment ruined the balance.
I will be posting some more entries shortly, hope it's not too late.
This is my last entry to your competition. I tried to stay close to my original idea as much as possible. I still believe my entries match your interests best.
