A Perfect Plate is a personal chef-for-hire service that connects busy people to a professional to prepare a meal(s) in their home at an affordable price. A key benefit is that it allows a person to focus their time and energy on the things that matter most to them (family, hobbies, business, health, etc.). Think UBER for Chefs but trustworthy, affordable, and great!

I am open to suggestions. However, I current logo is organge and I want to pull away from the harshness of it. Can you include some green or blues?

Ever since I was a little girl, my life’s passion was to help and serve others. I just never knew what that looked like. So I took the traditional approach by replicating what I saw before me and that was a family of healthcare professionals. I started out as a nurse assistant but realized after a number of years in this industry it wasn’t “my” way to my life’s passion. So my left brain decided to take over and I finished school with a Bachelors in Business Administration. I worked as a retirement services professional at a top investment firm while going to school and taking care of my little one. This quickly led into an accelerated career in which I now serve as the Head of an HR function for a global leader in construction and a mother of 3. It appeared for a moment my left brain won but my desire to serve in a creative, understand way still nagged at me.
I volunteered at local organizations focused on single mothers, served on my churches volunteer staff as the leader of their bookstores, and many other organizations. I sit on the board of a compensation group in Charlotte and I helped friends and families align their dreams of home ownership with fiscal responsibility and budgeting. But still nothing. Nothing helped me satisfy that ultimate need of serving and helping until A Perfect Plate was born.
With A Perfect Plate, I was able to utilize my love for food and cooking, the ability to meet exciting people who shared the same passions as I do AND.. Wait for it… SERVE! Yes, serve the need of others through helping them manage their life and take such a simple, yet time consuming, task away from them and allow them to focus on things that mattered. What I would have given to have A Perfect Plate in my life through these various transitions. But there are many “me’s” out there that A Perfect Plate can serve now.
Outside of the information above, here are the Why’s
1) The World is super busy => We are super busy
2) Time is a person’s most valuable commodity that we own
3) Affordability - its not just for the rich but for those he need the help
4) We need help to balance conflicting priorities and its ok to ask for it
5) Better alternative to cooking, meal prep subscriptions
6) Investment in health

I hope this gives some insight to why this service is so important. I have uploaded our existing logo but we are in the process of rebranding.
