A Better AnimalLogo Design Contest

Great responses so far! #10 is the only one which really connects with what I'm looking for.

Some further refinements:
- I like the very abstract foot, Could play with wider, narrower, etc.
- Keep left left root. A right foot doesn't look right.
- font color/bold should somehow emphasize "animal" part rather than "a" or "better"
- not sure about claws of a different color, maybe see what they also look like in blue
- possible to have 4 smaller claws curved inwards, then big toe claw slightly outwards? (similar to this...

#12 is almost there! ...clean font and the colors are perfect.

3 suggestions:

1. A narrower foot. My clients are runners and the image should be a lean foot rather than a wide one.
2. I would be interested to see the claws in the same color as the foot.
3. Also as mentioned in the last comments...I would be interested in seeing curved claws similar to #18
4. Right-justify the slogan text.

I like the new #27 with very pronounced claws!
