To all designers -- thank you for considering our contest. This is our first logo contest, and we are really excited to see your design ideas.

Two notes: In most cases, our logo will be displayed against a white background. We are more drawn to logos with a white or transparent background (as in entry #2 and #3) rather than enclosed in a box (as in entry #1).

Also, we would love to see some designs that incorporate a graphic beside or above our name.

We're receiving many really wonderful designs. While we admire many of the more angular images, we think that a design that incorporates curves or roundness would be more appropriate for us than something with very sharp edges.

We're down to the final day. One thing we haven't seen much of is the use of the lower-case "a" in the graphics (I think we'd like to keep the name in capital A's, but it's interesting to see a mix of treatments between the type and the graphic).
