#13 is the full-color, touched up version. This would work for most things, such as websites, letterheads, etc. but obviously not for t-shirts.
#14 is more of what you could expect for silkscreening onto shirts for the participants. I added a distressed/textured effect over the top to give it a cool vintage feel. This would also embroider/stitch quite well, except without the distressed layer of course.
Let me know what you think, and we can work on revisions as needed. Thanks!
I like the direction, but think I would like I see it without the cross and the point on the L. Your right though it does need something more. Just not sure what it is. Are there some stripes or notches you could put in it. Nothing specific to who we are as as group. I'm more looking for just the name and fall retreat in a cool worn look. I do like the worn look. Hope that info helps.
Another thing that would I would be very interested in would be an option with some serifs and a corresponding rough or "preppy grunge" look to go with that. I also like your Bluestar design. Something close to that would be good as well.
Sure thing. I will get some alternate font options prepped as well. Feel free to keep leaving your random thoughts, comments, etc. as they help a lot in getting the direction nailed down.
Coul I also see the one with the star with grey. And the full color with the blue in the background? We will use them both. Need the one for print and the other to print on a hoodie.
Def like the flat look of #22 better though could you do it distressed and without the blue background? If it's the one we go with I'll want to see it with the blue background as well, but still distressed.
Thanks for working so hard on this. It's much appreciated. Everyone I've showed it to likes this direction.
Sounds great. I will get those two versions posted asap, and then you can decide if there are any other variations you want to see... Glad we are on the right track!
I think we're close, and I'm more confident about what I'm looking for after talking to several people.
I like the stripes of #19 with the font for "retreat" from #23. With the layout of it. I want the word retreat to start in the middle of the first red stripe, and end in the middle of the last red stripe. Esentially a little smaller.
Is it possible to see a version that is has a white background and one that is blue and one red like you've done with the others? We would use the white for the appeal, and the others for the print.
Let's try this. Make the "Retreat" smaller on #23 like mentioned before with the 5 stripe one and we will see what that looks like. Where the word is in the middle of the 1st read and last red stripes. I kind of feel like the 5 stripe is too much.
Can you also do that will the background colors of blue and red?
