The connection between the zeros is nothing but the representation of a connection of both. The shadow in the scratch, it is for a radar graph, representing the search, map search. Got that?
I uploaded new alternatives for your review #177 #178 #179.
We like #179. We like 805 in green We like Connect in blue
We would like to see the word 'connect' bigger - the thing we are selling is 'connections' - it's hard to balance the large 805 with the smaller connect. So, see if you can reduce the 805 a bit and make connect bigger. The size of the rod that connects the two words is perfect.
Can you make the word 'connect' half the size between 220 and 219 . Try it so that the t in connect is just outside and to the right of the 5 - there's a nice balance maybe.
I like the size of 805 in 219, and it's too small in 220
One last thing - please make sure that you leave a bit of space between 805 and connect (vertically). 219 is too close, and 220 seems about right - lets see how it looks with the word connect on 220 a bit wider
221 seems to have the right weight. Now can you give me one with the colors reversed. I think I like the green 805, but I want to see both side by side to confirm. Thnaks for your speed.
Daniel, I'm close to making final decision. Can you tell me how you deleiver the final artwork? I use Fireworks not Photoshop - so will you be able to give me a layered PNG that I can then use as I need?
I am thinking about trying to work in our tagline below the word Connect and will be doing that and a ton of other stuff.
Also, what font is is, so that I Can make sure I have it.
Thanks again, I just sent 221 out to the team and people are thrilled with it.
Hi Mark, at this time there is a designer who is asking to withdraw my designs. This designer is claiming the use of the letter "o" to connect that connects to another element.
It is unfortunate that is happening in these instances, and for you is incomprendible and that makes me sad. I hope you can get the design that you need, but first I have to resolve this issue with the designer. I have written a message and am awaiting a response from this designer.
I regret enormously not want to affect my work and less the result for you.
Mark, I had to change the position of the line now connects with the letter "e" #223. The designer has called the use of that item and the rules can not use that idea.
All for the transparency of the competition and deliver you the best results for you.
This is completely unacceptable. We looked at 220+ designs. We decided on one that we love, our sponsors love and our clients love. NOW you say that it can't be used. How can someone have a 'patent' on the way two elements are connected. Impossible. I would like to appeal this to the management of Logo Tournament. We love the logo you created #221 - please put it back up. According to the Contest Guidelines below, the only time that an artist can 'own' a concept is if they presented it during THIS competition. They did not.
I can not stress how very unhappy I am. The connection to the e is not working for us at all. I would like to see the note from the other designer that proves that somehow they 'own' the idea of connecting two elements. I would contest that claim. There is NOTHING previously submitted in our contest that had anything like that.
Daniel, please tell me exactly which logo was submitted on THIS contest that used the 0 in 805 to connect to the o in connect? I looked at all of them just now and can't find one. And according to the rules, we should be ok.
You have no idea how bad of a position this puts us in.
Daniel, I am in literally the last day of the contest. We HAVE to have your design. It has gone through all the approval cycles internally and we have spent way too much time on this.
I am hoping you and resolve this, either with the designer (maybe they do the work??)
Otherwise, I have to contact LogoTournament myself to get resolution. My entire brand is now based on this design.
Thanks for the new entries. I will alert my team to look at them. I am not sure how it works after the winner is selected. Do I get the variations? Or do I have to start a new contest? Or do I just change the colors myself? Please advise. Also, what font did you use. I want to make sure my other graphics match. Thanks Daniel.
