Clean, simple, I like the emphasis on Veraison.

I like the concept of a light source in #20, but I think #11 pops more.

I'm a little worried that in printing #27 will look like a mistake or a faded label. Drop the right hand side so it looks more like a V. I like the sizing compared to #28.

Drop the right hand side as do I drop the curly stuff with leaves or the loop of the v

on second thought the stylized V is not working for me. I thought it was best to take it off the ranking list so we can move in a different direction. See contest comments. Thanks.

Prefer #69, to #68 (no giggles please).
I like the symetry of the design though I think the "mandelbrot set" is distracting a bit from the name and is a little new agey. I want a more old world feel.
Thanks,
Steve

#77 is definately better. Simpler, I like the weight and symmetry. Not quite sure what the rectangle is except as a frame for the V. WOuld it be to kitchy for it to be a stylized 225L wine barrel standing on end?
The structure and weight of the V is better.

The rectangle is a frame for the V as a simplistic shield nothing to complex without all the curves. Will submit an entry with a stylized 225L barrel. I have been working with the basic elements of the logo, so as to not distract or add any stylizing with a border around it. I can add borders if you'd like.

I think this design, #126, hits my latest contest discussion notes perfectly. It still needs work, but moving in the right direction.
Thanks,
Some new thoughts. Less stylzed barrel. I use a Nadalie 225L French oak barrels. If you want a reference point. http://www.nadalie.fr/index_2.php?local=uk&page=produit
On the vines and leaves. Here is a URL that shows proper pruning of a mature cordon. I think it would be too much to have your vines be that chunky, but I wanted you to get an idea of how the vines look in the real world. Actually, in our vineyard we prune off the left side, so it is more like an flipped over L than a T.

#184 - Great idea! Really moving along nicely.
Try one with the label shape itself as a barrel.
The strap lines (probably have to be very faint or only visable at the edges) could then be used to frame the elements inside.

#201, #202 - No this is not working.
Lets move back to the simplicity of #126 using comments I made earlier.
