5&DiamondLogo Design Contest

Hi Nong,

Our team really likes the direction you've taken with your entries! A few comments:
- We like the distinct 5 and boldness of the font in #32, though it doesn't read as 5 & Diamond
- We like the & and D of #33 but it only reads as "Diamond". We need the 5&D to be more prominent as that will also be a shortened logo.

- We like #94 but would want all capital letters and a bolder font (so you can see good from a distance).
- We also like #99 in concept but do not like the font - it is too thin - should be more clear to read.

#100 & #101 - are nice but you cannot clearly read.

#102 is feeling more on the right track - we would want to see a different ampsersand - and a slightly more dynamic font - what would it look like as the full logo?

Can we see 117 in all capital letters?

Very much like 123.

Like the cut through the D on 124.

Can you use a similar technique to give more character to 123? Maybe multiple cuts on the letters in interesting places?

123 is very close but needs something to make it special.

126 is interesting. Could we see with more cuts? Maybe 3 on one letter?

125 with more cuts I mean.

126 looks cool with what you are doing with the N and D - we would love to see more of that.

We like the original "5" better but all else is really looking good.

Can we see one version with the original 5?

One version with the 5&D larger with the top of the 5 overlapping the D and the bottom of the D overlapping with the 5?

One version with just the 5 bigger and the top line of the 5 overlapping the whole word "Diamond".

We have chosen you as a finalist because your logo concepts were the most creative.

We like all that you have done but the general consensus has been that we need to see a more dynamic font. (We feel that all logos currently ranked might be too basic since we are an edgy store.)

We have chosen these 4 fonts as possible design directions we could go. Can you use some or all of them to re-do your logo (and possible other inspirations the font gives you)?

Things to Remember:
1. 5&D should be interesting on it's own.
2. Should appeal to both men and women.
3. Should be able to clearly read as "5 & Diamond", even from a distance.
