Logo should simply state "4myride".
Hopefully this will give you a better idea of what we are trying to accomplish:
-This is an automotive enthusiast website.
-This site is designed to show-off users rides.
-People will want to be able to associate the logo as part of their ride/vehicle
-The logo will be featured at motorsport events, shows and marketing materials
- Give-aways will proudly display our logo
- The logo will also be displayed at events sponsord or sanction by 4myride

Please consider the look and feel to be corporate, yet agressive and fun for the automotive world. If possible, feel free to play with the letters so that an icon can be incorporated.
Please stay away from the older tire, wheel, flames and car background. We would like something that states automotive world of the future with a hint of retro/art deco feel.

We thank you all for considering our request and apologize for not being artist to better explain ourselves. However, please do not hesitate to contact us directly should you need us to better elaborate on any ideas.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for the Designers' hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

Request update:
- Please keep all logo ideas on a white background
- We do prefer blue as our color of choice, however, please feel free to use different shades of that color. Somehow it seems everyone is using the same light-blue.

Hello Designers!

Here's a weekend update;
- Please consider playing with the letters so that logo feels more alive rather than just a name
- Please consider paying extra attention to the "4", as this will help define us. ( For you automotive junkies, think of the "T" in "Tein", people recognize the "T" without having to read the entire logo)
- We highly encourage making the "4" into an icon or character on its own
- Another thought we recently came up with was the use of a "shift knob". Consider a "top view" where it illustrates the placement of the gears.

As we approach the final days we would like to remind everyone that the contest continues strong. We appreciate everyones hard work and creativity.

Remember, our goal is to have a logo that defines us as a premier source for automotive enthusiasts where they can socialize and gain updates on motorsport events and shows. Our members should be able to see our logo and want to display it on their cars and garages as part of their own personality.
