Hello designer! How are you doing? First of all thanks for entering our competition. Here are some feedbacks:
1. We like the handwrittin of the "Emerald Wheat". 2. We think the mine cart should have more interaction with the wheat. Try to mix then in your design. Also, you should make it looks like broken, accidented.
HI, thanks for the feedback. I'll work on some variations for you and upload over the next day - work is a bit hectic today, but I'll get on to this as soon as I can.
Nice improvements with those new drawings... We already got some feedback for you. Lets talk about the #16: 1) We were wondering if you could work a little more on the emerald stones that are inside the minecart... They look kind of too "plain" (at least thats how we feel looking the small version of it) and could use a little more detail on their shape. 2) Another thing that we wanted you to try is creating some kind of glow/mist surrounding the emeralds stones in the cart... Nothing too big, but just too make it look more mystic. We were thinking in something like the green mist that the designer of #14 used on the back of his handwriting for "Emerald Wheat". 3) As a test, you could try making the green used on "Emerald Wheat" a little brighter (like the one from #15) and our logo with a deeper purple (as it is on it's original form; also seen on #15).
Thanks a lot for the attention and keep up with that great work! We are getting somewhere!!
Hey there! Since you might be still working on the next designs, let us just add something that we would like you to try: - The minecart could look more realistic. I mean, that one seems kind of too cartoonish...
Hi, just to keep you informed that I am working on these changes for you. It's just a busy time for me these past two days and I'm trying to fit it in around other work. I will definitely upload some options for you. Just wanted to reassure you that I'm not ignoring you. Sorry for the delay, but I will get it done ASAP.
New version uploaded. I've changed the emeralds to be more angular and stylised. I've also adjusted the colours a bit - however it's important to note that the colours that appear on screen are RGB files - this is a colour mode specifically for viewing on screen, when printing you use CMYK colour mode. This will alter how the colours look between screen and print, there's no way of making the colours look the same on screen on on print because screen uses light and print uses ink - just wanted to make you aware of this.
Hey Brandmaster, how are you? Thanks for the drawings and for the tips about the colors!
Here some more feedbacks about the design of the label #23: 1. Try making the frame of the label all the same color, instead of making some parts green and others white; 2. About the wheat flower, try making it look more alive, maybe changing the yellow to a golden color...
Keep on the great work, and good luck in the rest of the competition!
We are almost done in here. just want to change some details. We want you to keep the logo #40 changing the color of the "emerald Wheat". We think this green is too dead. Maybe you dont need to change the color but just make it brighter. I dont know, you are the artist! #34 this logo is a good example!
Nice work, man! One thing we would like you to try: experiment changing the color of the contour of the label (instead of green). You could use puprle, or whatever color you like (or maybe different colors maching the different parts of the label).
Hey man! So we chosen you as winner but there's something we would like to ask you. Would you upload together with the winner label a squared version of the same? We are afraid that we may have some problems to print the winner version!
