Hi thank you for the kind invite heres my entries hope you like them.

Hi Xyan thank you for your entries. We really like what you have done and have some further thoughts below:

Entry #62 We like the simplicity of this and could you show us this with the picture on the side of the words (rather than on top) and also an option with the the entire logo on a white background (you may need to change the color of the wordss, would prefer warm brown tones).

Entry #61 We like the idea how you have a sky and the heart however we think its a little too playful as a whole. Entry #62 and #60 are more serious and we like those better. See if there's anything further you can do to make this more serious.

Thanks! Look forward to seeing more of your designs

Hi Xyan,
Your designs are very impressive and we like it a lot, thus we have elected you in our top 5!
Thank you for your efforts. We hope to work with you the next couple of days to develop/tweak your design.

I think we like to work with Entry #76 #67 and even #143

Here are our thoughts:
What we like about the design.
1.Simplicity, Clean and Fresh
2.The design is timelessness
3.The design also show elegance

What we would like to explore a little more:
1.We like to see more colours.
a) One with a background color, that has a gradient (so not a flat background colour)
Much like Entry#62 background colour, which we like a lot.
b) Some more concepts with white background (for use on photos as a watermark and our website) Please explore Entry #76 to use of two or three colour maximum. Please explore warm and feel good/happy tones.

2.Do you have any more ideas on tweaking your design to really stand out without changing it too much?
Just a thought, how would it look if it was in gold or sliver?

Thank you once again and look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Xyan,
Further to our comments above, we would like to see Entry #76 strokes without the blue/green tones but instead red/orange tones. Can you give us an example of this?

Thanks

Thank you for the great comments I'll try different color combinations as suggested.

Hi Xyan,
Thanks for your recent updates. Now that we've had a look at some of your extra combinations, here's our feedback:

1. We prefer logo #76 over #67 so we will now disregard #67 and try to work only with #76
2. The alternative colors you have used for #76 (ie the orange and white are too strong and the strokes without the gradient in it doesn't look as appealing).

We request if you could please provide us the following examples
1. Logo #76 - keep the color of the words the same and change the color of the blue parts of the strokes only to an red/brown tone. Please keep the gradient of colors within the strokes. The /red tones should be a classy colors.

2. Logo #76 - once you have changed the strokes as above, provide a second example but this time on the darker background of entry #62. This time change the color of the words exactly like entry #62. The color of the strokes may need to be tweaked a little to show up on the darker background.

This design has really grown on us...so hopefully we can sort out something that really appeals!
Thanks for your efforts!

Hi I've adjusted #76 with #182 up to #189, the strokes gradients have been selected with previous compositions thus replacing the blue & white with red/brown - red/gold. Thanks for the continued guide with the logos.

Hi Xyan,
We really like #182 & #183 stroke colours. Very beautiful. Good Job!

Next step, we like to explore different font colors.
1. Currently we think we like #185 and #188 font colors. Can you show us those colors with #183 strokes?
2. Please show us #183 with changing the word 'sky' to a gold orange? (so not too gold and not too orange... In between will be nice)

Thank you.

Hi heres the updates with font colors for #183 with #221 & #222
and the 'sky' with gold orange #217, #218, #219 & #220

cheers ^^

Hi Xyan,
Thank you for your updates. Great work again!
We have narrowed down our options to #221 and #222.
Unfortunatley we do not like the 'sky' with gold and orange mixed in.

So now can we do the following:
1. Can we explore #221 with different font colours? We are not quite sure what colour.
But we want it to feel rich and classy and sophisticated. Can you suggest some options?

Once we find the color we like on a white background. The next step is to use the same logo colors to find best suited background colour.

Thank you and look forward to seeing the new font colors.
Cheers!

Thank you for giving us some variations. We have taken your general concept to our broader team last night to get their thoughts. The strokes logo really appeals however there was suggestion that maybe the current direction of the strokes may be related to hair and beauty rather than media (photography, video etc). I think it may be a fair point and would like to consider the team’s suggestions

So now we are thinking the prime directions is Entry #157. Let us explore this more.
We feel the strokes can be modified slightly.
- Idea 1: make the strokes shorter so that it is contained within the font length.
- Idea 2: Can you show us another concept/variation of the strokes

For both the above ideas, please stick to three colors maximum.

We hope to see your concepts really soon.
Thank you very much.

Hi Xyan,
Thank you for doing the new designs.
I think the new prime direction will now be #244

Can you please do the following concepts:
1. the orange stroke does not look as obvious. I know the reason cause it's smaller now....but can you see if you can make it look a little tiny bit more obvious? The bigger one looked like it had more gap between the two strokes.
2. Can you please show the whole logo in another color using the brown shades? We would like another option.

Thank you once again! keep up the great work!

Hi Xyan,
Thanks for the updates.

We like #246.

We like to explore the following
1. Can you please show the whole logo, in white background using another brown color? We will leave it up to you.....Please stick to three colors.
If you could show another few concepts on different colors, we'd greatly appreciate it.
We will tackle different background colors next round after we have agreed on this.

Thank you

Hi Xyan,

I think we are nearly there, thank you for your updates. Just a couple more examples we would like to see:

We would like to try the logo without multiple colors on a dark background as well (for business card). Please take logo and make the entire logo 1 color and place the logo on the following background:
http://www.colourlovers.com/color/4A1207/doubled_as_good

On this background, make the entire logo the following colors (3 examples):
1. http://www.colourlovers.com/color/E7D16A/Good_as_Gold
2. http://www.colourlovers.com/color/F0D878/lemoncholy
3.http://www.colourlovers.com/color/E9D769/nuetral_gold

Also can you please change the #273 background color only to the following:
http://www.colourlovers.com/color/4A1207/doubled_as_good

Thanks!

Hi Xyan,
Sorry we think we may have confused you.
We were actually after the opposite.

Please invert #299, #300 & #301
(e.g. #299 will be background doubled as good with Good as Gold color font)

Hi Xyan,

Great work!

1. Can we also see #293 on 'doubled as good' background. http://www.colourlovers.com/color/4A1207/doubled_as_good
Please do not change font & stroke colors of #293

2. Can you use #303 font & stroke colors on the following background:
http://www.colourlovers.com/color/483018/looks_like_chocolate
http://www.colourlovers.com/color/5A2E2E/Shallow_Abyss

3. Can you use #303 font & stroke colors on the following background:
http://www.colourlovers.com/pattern/830900/GUCCI
Please change the GG pattern to LS

Thank you,
Prash

yes sure thing,
there's a problem with #293 for 'doubled as good' background
cannot be seen almost the same color with lyrical (#306)

#303 on looks like chocolate - #307
#303 on Shallow Abyss - #308

The gucci pattern is just a sample temporarily I may have to withdraw it
because its a copyright pattern for Gucci #309
12 years ago

Client
Hi Xyan,
Thank you for your updates once again.

For the Gucci pattern i wanted the pattern as a background and the logo to be placed on top of the pattern.
Therefore, I do not want the words 'Lyrical Sky' repeated in the background....just 'LS'

I understand that the pattern may be deemed as copyright, Therefore, It'll be good if you can come up with something similar. Come up with a similar pattern for background purposes. The colours for the pattern may need to change also so that when you place #303 font and stroke on top, that it doesn't clash.

I hope you understand what I'm talking about.
Please ask any question if you do not understand,

Thank you,
Prash

Hi got the instructions I'll try some options for LS pattern. Thanks
12 years ago

Client
Hi Xyan,
Thank you for your patterns. We feel LS is too much.
Can you please have a look at the below link and its background pattern as an example:
http://www.digitalweddingforum.com/blog/consider-letterpress-printing-for-your-next-business-card
Can you design something like this and place colors and the logo from #303 on it? We will like to see what you think will look good. It does not have to be exactly the same pattern. Please design something that suits but dont use the LS (as it looks too obvious)

Thanks

Hi Xyan,
Thank you for providing some patterns.
They are all good but we are not sure which one we like.

We like to explore somemore....Can you please try some of these following ideas.
1. background pattern to relate to element of strokes on logo
2. background pattern to relate to photography element like the shutter:
http://www.shutterstock.com/pic-52417177/stock-vector-the-stylized-shutter-of-camera.html
http://www.shutterstock.com/pic-18638467/stock-vector-shutter-frame.html

Thank you,
After you have provided some of the above examples, We hope to wrap this up by today. Hopefully you can send us the files later today, I will accept you as the winner!!! :-)
I will let you know which files we would like to have.

Cheers!
