This is a cool concept. I like it. But our three colors are red, black, and white/gray. Look at the website for the exact red and gray (www.weynand.com/new). They're gradients. I prefer the first two designs - they definitely show movement which I like. I also like the red 'Rev' - maybe do something different with Transmedia? Less bold?
I like the swoosh, but I don't know if it says "Rev Up." I want something that is action-oriented. This has movement, but the wave ends up coming down - not up. The idea is to rev up by learning something new, such as a new app, or by using new technology. Does that help?
This is interesting. I like that it resembles an ipad, which is one of the things we want to do - transfer educational and marketing content to our ipad app. Could you experiment with the name? Maybe use two lines? Upper left corner of our (rough) new website is more boxy than wide.
Ok. The arrow and swoosh... I'd like to see a version where the right-side part of the swoosh connects a little closer to the arrow. The way it appears now - is that it's out there on its own a bit. Does that make sense?
entry #17 second line (swoosh) more close to the arrow
im sorry sir. i still try to catch what you mean with two-lines appear beneath the logo. did you mean the symbol appear behind the text.. can you visual what you mean sir. im sorry.
i try to make the rev up transmedia text closely to your site (http://www.weynand.com/new/) do you want me to try another typo ? thanks
Her Dish - I was asking to see the two lines of text (Rev Up Transmedia) be repositioned beneath the graphic.
But for now, using #13 as a reference - I'd like to see a different font - maybe something shorter and bolder for Rev Up, and something shorter for Transmedia. The text can stretch out a little further if necessary.
Also, this logo would work well against white - for stationary, cards, white web pages, etc, which we need. But we'd also like to place our new logo in the upper left corner of our website - where it currently says, CUTTING EDGE. But that has a red background. Can you help me understand how we could alter the logo to make it work here?
Thanks for the changes. I'm really liking this. Do you know how it works - if I need both the white background version and the red background? I need the red one for my website, but the white one for other media. If I chose your design, would I get both color schemes?
Also, I think making the Transmedia lighter - but making it white competes with REV. Could you try making it a gray color. Something in between.
dear sir please dont worry about final files i will send to you all file you need including black background, red background, monochrome, black and white version, png, eps, etc per request. i will serve you till you happy..
• make the arrow coming up and out of the box less high - shorten it • make the white whisp on the outside of the arrow point or bend more toward the arrow tip • the Transmedia text doesn't pop out enough. Maybe make font larger or brighter. (maybe try a font like Venta - it has lines going through the text - we need something to make it important.)
dear sir here is my revision as per your request #142 #143 white whisp beneath the arrow more closely to the arrow #144 #145 arrow shorter #146 #147 left side
i can tweak the font too. if you think the font have to much line on it i can tweak it a little
Thank you for the revisions. We wanted to see the venta font for the word Transmedia - not Rev Up. (per my earlier entry dated Sept 19th). You might have to choose a slightly broader font for it to work, But we want don't want to see Rev Up in venta font.
We will always want the revised arrow that is shorter, with the outer edge closer to the tip of the arrow.
We have seen a font where the U and P of UP were combined. Do you know what type of font this is? Could you try one like that? We like the lower case transmedia as in #151
Congratulations, HerDish. We are selecting your design, #154, as the winner of our contest!
I am not sure how we handle revisions after the contest is over. To confirm:
We like the shorter arrow with the outer 'swoosh' line closer to the arrow tip
We like combining the UP to indicate something new and forward thinking
We need for the font color to match our web colors more closely (it's a darker red). We've taken our website down temporarily, so let me know if you need access and we'll figure that out.
We will need to use the logo against different backgrounds so need an alpha channel (png file?)
Can we get now the changes that we requested on september 29th. Also, the weblink is http://www.weynand.com/new - please match the red of the site in the top of the left hand corner. We want the gradient of the font, per the other designer. Can we get this down today, please. Thank you.
And we need the different versions we asked for too...in the memo of September 29th.
