Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ After your contest closes it will enter Judging phase. You can re-rank designs in Judging.
~~ While in Judging, the designer ranked in first place can submit revisions

I like how the Ex is integrating the human element. I want to de-emphasize the "Session" part of the name but still have a balanced looking logo. Maybe we look at stacking options? Not sure yet.

One additional note is that this will need to work on a black background too.

We need to encapsulate the "EX" at the end of the logo so it fits with the name SessionEx and can stand on its own.

Thanks everyone for your work on the designs! There are a lot of exciting ideas. Here are some comments to help guide future submissions.

Notes on #20 in 1st place:
- Has a nice balance of the human element (x people),concise layout.
- It is great that the EX is emphasized by using a less emphasized font for Session. This works.
- It's great to use the X as the people motif and avoid using an illustration that is separate from the text. This makes the logo more concise which we like.
- X's seem a little muddy next to each other. Could they be thinner or somehow more distinct from each other to highlight the quantity of Xs?
- The font for Session kinda works but still is not right on
- Not sure how this logo would work on a black background.

#32 The treatment of the X's is interesting here. It's also great how clean it looks - although maybe too solitary. It still lacks a human collaboration element. Not sure how this would work on a white background. Looks a little too much like a pro-audio or a sports car with the brushed metal for our audience; could look more Web 2.0.

#6 the motif and colors are interesting. Not sure about the treatment of the x. Also, please emphasize the X in EX more, particularly if the illustration is integrated into the X somehow.

#34 please stay away from making the S look like a $ dollar sign.

#27 a little too techie needs to be more human. Solid red is too intense. Like the possible sense of interconnection in the illustration - 3 connecting elements (community) would be better than 2 (partnership). Would it be possible to integrate the motif into the text itself?

#33 We would prefer to emphasize the EX rather than the S. Also the S motif emphasizes 2 (partnership) and 3 (community) is better.

#24 The motif with the people is interesting... but it looks like they are on top of each other in a conga line which is a little wierd. Also, with all of the designs so far we are preferring the illustration portion to be either in line with the logo or part of the text.

#30 the check mark is interesting... but too much like a nike swish. Need more of a sense of community. It's also a bit too much like the FedEx / WebEx logo.
