Logo Designer
Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ After your contest closes it will enter Judging phase. You can re-rank designs in Judging.
~~ While in Judging, the designer ranked in first place can submit revisions

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

Good morning! thanks for your submission dije. I like that you've warmed up the message. would love to see a version a bit more hip. DESIGNERS! My logo will be seen by publishers, agents, publicity and marketing people in publishing! Don't you want them to see YOUR logo! And next year I'll expand to offer YOUR EXPERT NATION to small business people (florists! cafe owners! boutiques!) all those who know they should be participating in social media. So LOTS of businesses will see YOUR logo! Looking forward to your great ideas. Many thanks for the time/creative energy!

Great to see more submissions. NEW INFO, DESIGNERS! Sorry I should have pointed out that these days people are reading in so many formats (Hardcover, paperback, e-book) and on so many devices (printed books or iPad or Kindle or Nook or smartphone) that it will be tough to use a traditionally shaped book in the logo and still have my company project the image we need of using both the classic marketing elements AND all the new digital tools including social media to sell authors' work in all those formats. Perhaps thinking of connecting writers (pens?) with readers (eyes?) could inspire you. (that's just a late night thought.)

Most of all, thanks to you for your creative efforts! I haven't yet seen The One yet, though. Overall, a bit old-fashioned look but some concepts that might be tweaked. Please do see my comment from yesterday re the challenge that today's publishing and book marketing offers: so many formats -- print and ebooks -- so many devices - Kindle, Nook, smartphone -- so many marketing tools -- facebook, twitter.......are all part of our world. Help me communicate: Authors, we can help you attract new readers (eyes) using the timeless and the newest media!

Wow! thanks to all for letting me see and consider your work. I've worked with dedicated designers as a marketing director, so have a small appreciation for the time and brain muscle you put into this creativity, so I'm truly grateful. I find myself responding most strongly to the concepts that communicate getting the word out:
Finding readers for those great words/works.
