I will comment separately on your designs. This regards #8.
First of - really great work. so far your designs are the favorite among my colleagues. As to no. 8 its qualities lies in the clarity of the firgure outline and the clear dynamics. The font reminds me of the one we are using now - not that that in itself is bad - but I would like to see examples of other fonts to see if we can mix it up a little. If possible could we combine it so that academia also becomes part of the design?? Without loosing the fluidity and lightness of the icon.
I am really looking forward to see if you can make a visual representation of my ramblings.
this regards #9. see comments for no.8 as well. This design looks because of the semicircle to be lighter than no. 8 but the lighter colors on the circle and the head makes the icon indistinct when viewed from a litlle further away. The hindleg should probably be seen as coming from behind the circle. Also the size of the athlete is better in no. 8 as it seems to interact with the lettering as it reaches over it.
Really good work and as to your portfolio I like what you have done on Katalyst and Personal Passion as well as your personal logo. But this last comment only refers to my personal likes not something to be used in this connection.
Hmmm very nice alterations. Unfortunately our university graduates do not wear hats. The sentiment is really good though. I like what you have done with the fonts and coloring. I like the font on #23 best, but am still undecided on the final font. But you are on the right track. The full circle design on #24 i like the shadowy top part being grey and the bottom part in color. The semicircle on #25 should still be with the back leg coming out of the semicircle like on the full circles.
I look forward to seeing what you are able to come up with.
your new designs for #28 and #29 are good alterations, the academia however still eludes me. Try maybe looking at www.ku.dk for academia related inspiration.
