~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for the Designers' hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

I agree, prefer #2. First one looks like a red roof inn hotel.. The fonts should be more edgy like the fonts on the WV website. I also like the coloring on #2 better, just darker oranges and the WV survival kits should be together. I do like the focus on the words which builds a better memory for people as opposed to focusing entirely on a hiker. But can we see what it would look like with a niche hiker/safety hiker symbol? Regarding the shape can we see with a more circular shape? What do you think about the shape?

We will need to focus on the words and a symbol/logo (see "Pictoral Marks" example in the contest brief). We will not be able to embroider the hiker image as it is too detailed.

Please focus future designs on making a compelling symbol- and presentation of the actual logo- keeping in mind it needs to be simple enough for private labeling. On many of the products, we will just use the symbol and not the wording, so cool enough people will build a following based on the symbol it portrays.
