example #1 - You have captured many of the elements, however, there are a couple of key points that need to be within this logo. First, the scripture reference should be written out. Second, our church logo policy does not allow us to use the actual "bug" from the main Grace Church logo. If you can capture the essence of the Grace logo while making this logo a separate entity, that would be ideal.

In reference to all posted design elements and all future designs to be submitted...

First let me apologize for any confusion regarding what our church allows and does not allow to be in ministry logos.

We are NOT allowed to use the cross, the swoosh, or the actual bug from the main logo.

We can have elements that make a reference to the Grace Church logo, however, we have to think in terms of both logos being on the same piece of paper...we don't them want them to compete with each other, simply compliment each other and be obvious that they belong together.

If anyone has any questions, please post and we will respond accordingly.

I have updated our brief to include pictoral, abstract and web versions of the logo. Originally when I read the that portion of the description, I thought we could only choose one style.

We are interested in a variety of styles, so please feel free to include a variety of styles as well as what has been submitted already.

wow...thank you all designers, you have provided such a wonderful variety of designs to choose from!

As so many designs came in during the last hour, it will take a bit of time for our decision makers to deliberate ad make the final decision. We will have a final judgement within the next day or two. Please be patient today and tomorrow as we deliberate the designs.
