Hi Tracy, Here is the initial logo idea I came up with for you. I wanted it to be something that would look great on both signage and business cards. The custom wordmark name could also be used on it's own without the house shape(s). Right now it is in a clean one-color state, but I can certainly add more color to it as needed.
Also, just out of curiosity: where is your office located exactly? I live in Minnetonka, but I was wondering if you wanted to try and incorporate anything from your location into the logo (like a subtle silhouette shape of a particular city or building perhaps?)
Here is a new design for your consideration. One that is much cleaner and simpler, as requested. The negative space between the letters make a house! It's subtle and clever--making your mark very memorable!
