What We Do
We are a small, boutique-style real estate firm operating in Loudoun, VA and it's surrounding counties. We are all about full-service when it comes to real estate transactions and being ahead of the curve with respect to technology. Our transactions and marketing are almost 100% paperless.

Color Preferences
Our color scheme is as follows:
1: Navy #123a61
2: Deep Carmine Pink #F43542
3: White Smoke #E6F7F5
4: White #FFFFFF
5: Gunmetal #292C35

Navy should be the dominant color, with the carmine as a slight accent, if used. We're looking for something simple that can easily go from online to print, as well as black and white, without losing too much of it's general design.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We actually need 2 logos: 1) Middleburg Real Estate + 2) Atoka Properties. Middleburg Real Estate was founded in 1938 and was then purchased by a real estate team that went by the name Atoka Properties. We previously had the MRE|AP logo (attached) created to marry the two, then the Atoka only came later as a bit of an afterthought. We would now like two separate logos that look cohesive when used together. MRE is more heavy into hunt country, farms, and luxury properties, while Atoka is slightly less country. The goal is to have more modern logos, while still retaining a clean, crisp look that will appeal to our main demographic: age range of 40-65, government/IT jobs in DC, mid to senior level positions, home purchases of $500K - $800K.

Design preferences: mostly text, super clean, a mixture of classy and modern, perhaps something with "est. 1938", attention grabbing and unique - we're not a law firm ;) Not set on serif vs sans serif, but we tend to like a combination of the two.

About the horse: we like the horse icon on our current logo, but it doesn't fit the demographic of all of our offices. We would therefore like it included only on the MRE logo or left off completely. Designers choice.

I'm so excited to see so many submissions already! you guys are awesome. Just to add to our description notes: we're looking for something leaning more towards modern/contemporary, rather than like our current logos that are all Trajan. Feel free to use sans serif fonts. And while we want mostly text, we would love some graphic touches, similar to the sample logos we chose.

There are some really awesome designs coming in. I probably should have included this sooner, but here are two real estate firms whose marketing and logos we really like: Red Oak Realty in Berkley CA and West + Main Homes in Denver, CO. Hoping these can be a helpful reference.
