I think I prefer this shorter, wider font to the taller, skinnier one, as it gives a sense of stretching left-to-right that goes along with the overall "direction" of the logo to the right.
I think the slanted/italic font doesn't work as well for me, mostly because neither the corporate logo nor the Core Application Platforms logo makes use of italics.
Not as attracted to this one; although I appreciate the overall arrow shape, the left edge of the graphic "arrowhead" isn't quite squared up due to where the green diamonds are placed. I think I prefer some of the other variants.
i also like this one where the fonts match. i think i prefer this rounded font a little more, but would also be interested in exploring different fonts.
Nice! This is probably my favorite concept at the moment. I'd like to play around with the arrangement of the text. I didn't appreciate how long "transformation" was. What about "Software Strategy &" on one line and "Transformation" on the other?

I like this as well. I wonder if the starburst/sparkle on the right-hand side will be hard to see at small resolutions. I do like the diamonds a little better than the circle version of this one. Also, as a question: are you using the same fonts for "SST" and "Software Strategy & Transformation"? They look a little different to me.
This concept is really interesting too. I like the suggestion of evolution/progress here. I wonder if the "sparkle/starbust" on the rightmost circle might be hard to see at small resolutions.
Could we see a version with the graphic on the right? It feels like the head of an arrow and I wonder if the text could serve as the tail of a vague arrow shape.
I like the use of most of the color palette here, and like the tapered strips as suggestive of movement/dynamism/transformation. The circular nature of it feels a little like "rotating in place" to me, though; would prefer to have a stronger sense of coherent direction here, as suggestive of progress.
The other organization logos in the family (both the Comcast corporate logo and the other Core Application Platforms logo) don't have 3d shading in them. I see you have a flatter version of this which I'll comment on shortly.
This graphic is interesting. It suggests more of an organic/messy sense evolution to me, which I have to admit is probably realistic for the company overall. However, I think since the group is responsible for guiding/directing/assisting the evolution, it doesn't suggest enough control/direction.
I also like this. Can you do the rounded versions, but with the diamond shape elongated horizontally (suggests more speed/acceleration)? You have a version with non-rounded elements that is more elongated that I also like.

Would prefer to see the movement suggested be in one direction, so as to imply more evolution/acceleration (rather than a reversal or turnaround). Also, we can remove "Comcast Cable" and just use the organization name (Software Strategy & Transformation).
As with the other one, I like the use of all the palette colors, but the "thought bubble" design element doesn't suggest transformation/evolution/acceleration enough for me; the design of yours that I ranked seems to suggest it best.
