Cute. But I meant keeping the fist/fork image and applying it to other designs with more emphasis on Go Homegrown. For instance, maybe "Go" is big and the fist/fork image is in the "o"? It's up to you. Looks like you will win this contest regardless unless someone else blows me away today with something new.
I like it. My only concern is how close the ends of the web address are to the fork. Feels cramped. Can you tighten the spacing between Go and Homegrown and also the space between the O, W and N?
I like this one and #77, so these comments apply to both. For the type... Can you thicken up GO HOMEGROWN but leave .ORG as is? You can tighten the spacing between the letters too. Initial cap Fork. Can you try a different font for tagline? Maybe the one from #19?
Don't like the lightning bolt. I prefer the look of the two outer circles. Just widen the size of the circles so the type has more room. The orange space still looks too empty. Can you distress it to break it up some?
I like that. Initial cap Fork. Can you push the second circle from outside edge further out to give type more breathing room? Also, can you add anything to orange space above fist...small straight lines or lightning bolts?
I've made a few cosmetic changes as well. was not happy with the original fork and re-oriented the outer circle. The bottom end of the fork is now coming from behind the small finger not behind the hand as it is in the original.

I like that. Since the fist is bigger, let's lose the chain and make the orange circle smaller to give the type more room. Also change tagline to Let Your Fork Be Heard
I think that has more impact. Any ideas on how we can fill some of that empty orange space? Would it look weird with a white circle chain with half bleeding off into the orange?
Can I see one with a bigger fist and shorter fork? You can remove the lines between the tagline and GHG. Tilt the image so the fork is horizontal and can bust out of the circle into the newly created white space.
I like the rough circle on this one. If we come up with a solid center icon for the middle, we can then have the bottom circle changed to GOHOMEGROWN.ORG. Not a fan of the ivy sides.
this concept will appeal to a wide audience with out being aggressive. Utilized Fork & Spoon. placing knife of the design even though it's table knife is a violent object.
Hey Scott. I can tell you that you're going to be in the next round. You're giving me the most original stuff. Given that, I'd like for you to start thinking about an icon which represents the message. I was originally thinking that the badge/seal would be that, but I see now that it's a challenge given the extreme different lengths of Go and Homegrown. They don't pair well together.
Anyway, can you brainstorm what an icon might be that represents the community supporting the independent restaurants in their city? I'm trying to rally the community around the belief that big corporate chain restaurants are driving the little independent eateries out of business, and that the community needs to take a stand by supporting the little guys. It's going to be fight. So my first thought for an icon is a show of strength like a fist raised in rebellion with a fork in its hand. I think that would be a lot more powerful than any initials. To stress the point, my original tagline for this brand was going to be "Break the chains. Join the rebellion." That's the underlying message that this logo should represent. Maybe we use a broken chain in some way?
I'd prefer a logo that isn't an extreme horizontal or vertical shape. I thinking something fairly equal in length and width would be more practical given the multitude of uses we have planned for it.
I really think Go and Homegrown need to stay together. This currently reads Go.org to me. Also I would lose the leafy part as that implies "from the ground" like vegetables. This is to support restaurants, not the growers.

we need a color separator to make the domain more readable without the spacing use in the previous versions.

1. Go Homegrown font outline a wee bit, we cannot go any thicker with this typeface.
2. lower case .org (looks better)
3. the tag font was the same from the start. I had bold it in the last update. Lets keep the font in the same family
