20 Copa Morelos 2010Logo Design Contest

What I like about # 20 is that you used the exact letters of the newspaper's logo. For # 29 I would like to see the same in your design. Use the round arrangement but with our logo letters. I would also like to see some idea of using the 2010 to show the year but also using the first two numbers 2 and 0 to show that it is the 20th edition. Maybe you can use other colors, together with the bugambile, to make the logo more lively because I feel them a little bit boring, but remember NO PURPLE. Thanks.

Hola mbracs necesito saber algo... entonces la letra del logotipo del periodico? para que nos la diste? el que escogiste en primer lugar no la tiene entonces cual es el caso de usar especificamente esa letra?

Si quiero que usen especificamente la letra del logo. Como puse en mi comentario, me gusta el diseno del #1 pero me gustaria que tuviera la letra de nuestro logo. Pero solamente para la palabra Morelos. Esa letra tomala del logo que les di porque fue trasada especialmente para nuestro logo por Jim Parkinson.

Revotype is asking me why did I tell you to use the leter type of our logo if the one that I ranked first is not using it. I am telling him that I would like you to use the same letter type for the word Morelos only, and that you should take it from the logo I uploaded because the logo was drawn specifically for us by the newspaper logo designer Jim Parkinson, from typedesign.com

I would like to see the logos a bit more colorful. Not with many colors but adding one or two that can go well with the bugambile. But remember NO PURPLE.

I am pretty sure and sorry if I'm wrong on this but due to branding issues I don't think you are allowed to deform the text 'Morelos'. Check the identity book for the logo of the newspaper. It's a pretty serious thing

You are probably right for most newspapers, but at "Diario de Morelos" we are a bit more flexible with our logo. We go more with the Google approach where we can adapt the logo to match the different circumstances. For example, Christmas. If you go into our web-page now www.diariodemorelos.com you will see that Christmas has already arrived to our logo.

Ah ok I understand. Didn't really realize you owned the newspaper, thus you know better, Just wanted to make so you wouldn't have had any suprises if you weren't the owner of the Morelos logo.
