Design looks really interesting and sleek, but you should work with first 3 letters more 1WD - which is shortcut for 1stWebDesigner.

Number 1 definitely needs to stand out a lot more, but I really like how this has been going on.

For #8 and #7 I really don't like how 1WD text looks, number one should present more of the feeling understanding..that somebody, something, is being first! Like imagine people standing on pedestal, receiving first prize, something award winning, shiny, I don't know how to express that feeling better.

#6 looks interesting just resembles more TV channel logo, not web design related.

Here's one more idea..use some coding related tags..like <1WD> showing that site is about coding, webdesign, but still in good maneer.

Can I ask why D letter is kind of broken? I like how it looks, just want to understand the reason.

And from these works #14 looks the best because it's just one color. But it shouldn't be so, colored version shouldn't use just use color..but instead nice gradient should be used..to give it kind of icon feel.

About updates, sorry but such gradients are more from web 2.0 style and look I wouldn't like to see..here are more examples
