OK, I have to do a few things, but I wanted to show you the basics of the revised script design. I havent colored it etc, I always start out in black and white, so I know it works in one color. But this is what I'm working on, and before I go any further, perhaps your input, anything you'd like to see taken away, added, revised etc. #563 and #564
Let's work off of #563 - this has promise! We can focus on colors later. Let's nail the design first.
Version 1 - Put the volt within the half circles - one on the top and one on the bottom...maybe right of middle on the top and left of middle on the bottom. (instead of next to "Daily")
Version 2 - Put the volt back in the "S" in surge like the original version, except the line that connects the S to the volt should have more of a bend in it to match the curvature of the bend at the end of the swoosh and not touch the letter u. You can keep the half circle above and below
Version 3 - any other cool variations on the better booch design you like! Including different shapes, uses of the volt, colors, effects on the letters, etc.
THANKS! #566 - I didn't explain myself correctly. I wanted to have the volt actually BE a part of the half circle, not be within the half circle. Does that make sense?
Let's make #567 the same design style of #489 - I like the font in daily much better in #567 AND I like the simpler Surge underline. Remove the circles. Its a bit busy.
I've uploaded the same layout as #489 .. and a non-slanted one, and one with the circle but not slanted, and one where the surge is part of the circle. I'll upload another where theres no distress and a faint drop shadow like #489
#569 - can you remove the dots and make it looks like #572? Also, please make the top of the bottom loop in the S a little thicker. It got pretty thinned out.
Heres another with the side thickened more. If you notice the top half of the S, vertical lines are thicker than the horizontal ones, so its more in line with the top half :)
I am ready to select the winner. Before I do, I want to confirm a few things with you:
EPS Format - I just want to make sure you will be sending a vector file. Either EPS or AI is fine, as long as it's a vector file it works for me.
You will be sending me the files for the winning logo #536 AND entry #541 (which we will use for the avatar)
P.S. (If you wanted to "surprise" me and throw in the vector file for entry #575 just bc you are awesome I won't complain. :-) it's actually my favorite but won't work as well for the website as #536. However I would love to use it for the websites future product line...
Thanks for everything! You were so patient and amazing. I appreciate everything you did for me during this competition! I look forward to hearing back from you.
Hi, yes, all of the source files are vector, eps files. I will upload the logo in the final files area, and then send additional files to your email if you wish, or upload the EPS files one by one to the final files. Thanks!
