Hi there, please see my first entries uploaded. The concept uses the negative space and angles created from the C to form a projection of light across the word film - it's a stylish and abstract take on the traditional iconography of a projector.

Another concept that makes use of an icon. the icon has been created from a lower case d that has be replicated to form an abstract play symbol.

I think it's smart. But it separates the two words and feels more quirky rather than strong and solid. Plus I'm really looking for a emblem of some type. Power related, an animal, weather, something. Thanks again!
