What We Do
WKMC delivers a listening experience from the golden age of broadcast radio. Hearing hits from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, listeners to WKMC are entertained by format that reminds them of radio the way it used to be. The “Oldies” format centers on a listening audience that is predominately female between the ages of 35 and 65.
Color Preferences
We are open to any color combinations that work...designers choice! We do like the idea of using a "neon letter" look, as this was a common fixture in the era of music we play, but other than that, use your creativity!
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We like the look of juke boxes, neon signs, and 45 records. Think of the classic TV show "Happy Days" or the movies "Grease" and "American Graffiti." Classic cars, drive-in movies, and feel good music.
We have two versions of our current logo that we aren't completely satisfied with. We like the concept but not the final product. Feel free to build off these concepts or go in an entirely different direction.
