I like the concept, but will need input from my team that is traveling. It may be to busy, but it does stand out. The reason it is ranked lower is that i do not have input from other people yet.
Thank you for feedback. This is my second design. Simplified compass with oil drop inside. I think that gold looks better on dark background that's why i used blue color.
I really like this look. I need to confer with my president. The question will be, how will we use it on stationary, etc as it needs to be surrounded by the black box. My concern is usability.
Could you put entry 25 inside a dark droplet so that the background is an image also? Like the droplet inside the design. Or some ideas like this. It needs to be framed so we can use it. Also, can it be more 3d?
What about using the compass in #5 with the aims in 25? I also like that compass as it reflect our product name COMPAS and it looks more 3D. We may lean toward the colors of #5 also, so if you could mock up a couple of alternatives, that would be great.

#25 - Change the lettering to be bolder, use a different compass design. The black background needs to be a symbol that can be printed rather than a black square - oil droplet etc
Sorry for not responding earlier. I have the flu. We want all of the letters in AIMS to be clear and understandable. It should be easy to identify AIMS as the company. We like the idea of a compass or oil droplet as an emblem or graphic that proceeds the word AIMS, but also like AIMS as a stand- alone word. Colors that appeal to us are deep reds, deep blues, black, dark gray, gold and burnt orange. We lean toward a heavier font like #3 and #10. We do not like the oil droplet inside of the word AIMS. If the logo has a dark frame, the frame needs to be a graphic that can be printed such as an oil droplet, compass, etc. We need to be able to use the logo for all marketing material, both color and black and white printed material. We have extended the contest because of the number of quality entries and hope you will continue to work with us. Thank You!
