Logo Designer
Hello,

This is my first entry in your contest. I tried to make the knife look realistic and clean without making it too complicated.
If you would like to see different letter styles or anything else, please let me know.
Thank you for your consideration,
Tim

We like the greater realism very much. Can you please get rid of the Inc so Construction is centered?

Logo Designer
Hello,

This one has the Inc removed and "Construction" centered.

Thank you,
Tim

In this one, I made "Construction" a little bigger, made the rings on the knife a little smaller and centered the knife differently as another option.

Thank you,
Tim

Hello,

I wanted to show you another look with Construction even bigger.
Please feel free to let me know of any other changes you would be interested in seeing.
I have a couple of other ideas I'm working on as well.

Thank you,
Tim

Hello,

I wanted to show you one with a horizontal layout approach as another option.

Like it. can you make the knife look more three dimensional?
I think the Inc. is important. Lic. # 637927..Anyway of fitting that in there too?

Client

Logo Designer
Thank you very much for the feedback, it's very helpful.
I'll get to work on the changes.

Hello,
I thought I would tackle putting the Lic. # in first.

Thank you,

This is #41 using the font from #46 with the Lic# included.

With "Construction, Inc" in black...

I'll work on adding more contrast to the knife to make it pop more and then a 3D look.

Thank you,
Tim

Logo Designer
Hello,

I added more contrast, darker colors and detail to the knife to make it pop more.
If you like this knife, I can use it easily in any of the other layouts.

Thank you,
Tim

This one has the darker knife with red "Construction, Inc." and the "Inc." the same size as construction.

Thanks again, and if you want any parts of one design used in another, please don't hesitate to let me know.
I just didn't want to submit too many variations all at once.

Thank you,
Tim

Hello,

This one has a bit darker blade on the knife and a slight bevel on the "Construction, Inc" to make it stand out a little more.
Also a red line so you could see what that looked like.

Thank you,
Tim

Hello,

I added the scissors in the knife to the horizontal design as another option.

Logo Designer
Hello,

Here are a few entries with the scissors added to the knife.
It changes how the vertical layout looks because "Construction" can't go right under the knife with this one, but I wanted to show you the option.
I tried to keep the variations down to a minimum as there are a lot of elements I could mix and match.
If there are any things you want from one with another, just let me know the entry numbers.

Thank you,
Tim

Hello,
The last two are a more 3-D look as another option.
I can easily use this knife version in any of the other layouts.

Hello,

Here is a complete 3D look using shadows.
I can do this with the other knife (the one with just the blade) if needed.

Hello,

This is #41 (currently in first place) with the only difference being more dark colors in the knife.
Thanks for your time, and if you would like to see any of the later ones using this style lettering please don't hesitate to let me know.

Thank you,
Tim

Hello,

I had one more idea, in a different direction. A hammer instead of a knife blade.
Just an option.

Thank you,
Tim

Logo Designer
Hello,

I drew grips on the hammer handle to make it look more realistic.
I think I've checked off all the ideas I had at this point.
I'll be traveling tomorrow morning, but as I've mentioned please feel free to let me know if you want to see any different colors or combinations.
I should be back tomorrow (Monday) afternoon.

Thank you,

#46 is our favorite. Can we see the knife closed a bit and try the MacGyver in black and/or shadows or something to give it more definition. Can we also see a version without the MC logo so that the MacGyver word is bigger and better balances the size of Construction?

Logo Designer
Hello,

Thank you very much for the feedback.
I'll be home this afternoon and will do those right away.

Take care,
Tim

Logo Designer
Hello,

This is the first of the revisions you wanted to see on #46.
A darker shadow behind the white to make it stand out more, and the blade more closed.
I can easily open or close it more if needed.
I liked this one when I first drew it for the simple but bold and sharp look.
More to come..

Thank you,
Tim

Hello,

This one has a darker knife and shadow in the red, as well as a black outline around "MacGyver" to make it pop.
"Construction" is also a darker shade of red.

If you would like any other changes, such as shading or font style, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Hello,

A specific font for "MacGyver", which would be recognizable for fans of the show.

Logo Designer
Hello,

This one is #46 with the "MacGyver" font, a darker background on the knife so it stands out more and the original blade color.
I think I got all the variations you had asked about, darker shadow outline to make "MacGyver" stand out more, with and without the MC.

Thank you again,
Tim

Lastly, I removed the hinge cap on the right side to make the knife more streamlined as another option.

Logo Designer
Hello,

This is #46 but instead of darkening the red to make MacGyver stand out, I added a shadow to the word for a different look. It keeps the rest of the knife the brighter red.
Thank you,
Tim

This one also uses the shadow of MacGyver to keep the bright red and I removed the cap and made MacGyver bigger.

Thanks again,
