i liked the old fashioned ticket look with all the info on it..
will post some other versions of it later on.
the numbers on the side can be changed to a date important to you (maybe the start date of the site...).

any feedback is welcome.

some variations of the logo design. different colours, thickness of lines, a piece ripped off...or a fold in the corner.

Hi Wackman,

Your submissions are closest to what I had in mind. Please consider using a more modern ticket style - the one you used is more like a raffle ticket bought at community events. Tickets used for admission to concerts, sporting events etc. usually have information such as seat, aisle, row, section, etc.

We have lots of time left - let me know if you want me to e-mail you some samples.

Great start though.

sure, i'll have a look at them. maybe you can pm me the links or by the email adres on my website.
i must say though that i like the old tickets more than the new ones :P... more iconic. it ads to the nostalgic feel of wanting to keep a ticket imo.

edit: i'll try to google them myself and see if there is anything interesting there.

a more modern design, with elements that you can find on modern tickets.
i also want to make a version with a piece torn of like in the older ticket design and maybe a folded corner so it looks used..

hope you like.

best regards,

wackman.

I do like the torn ticket effect. That's how they are afterall.

I'm moving this entry 11 to number 1...

almost forgot: some of the text and numbers are easy to change in to something else ,more personal to you.. a date, a seat row, etc...

Let's try more muted colors. I may wind up with the more colorful one, but we might as well look at what the options are.

maybe you can think about some numbers that mean something to you.
maybe you have a fav. ticket yourself with seatnumebers, etc. or a date, etc.

it's not a must by any means, but it could be nice to give it a personal touch .

"Upload photos/scans of your ticket stubs and look at the collections from around the world" in these two designs.
Ofcourse the text change can be done in any colour variation.

hi Russ,

i just noticed you asked the same question you asked me to the other designer (CalligraphyLogo).

now i don't want to make a big deal of this, but this way you basicly ask different designers to do the same concept, while the first ticket design was my concept (the first entires weren't ticket designs).

That would be no problem if you would ask people to make a ticket design in the original briefing.
Now i was surprised to see a similar concept (the rules here for designers are that the entries have to be significantly different that what other designers make unless the original briefing has specific details on what should be in the logodesign).

i'm SURE no harm was intended and i'm sure you just wanted to spread your chances to get your best logo design, but i did want to share this thought with you for a possible logo int h. Hope you understand.

best regards,

cheers

hi,

(only) the #1 ranked designer can submit entries during judging mode.
if you would still like to see some textual or number changes, don't hesitate.

cheers,

Wackman.

Hi Wackman,

Indeed, no harm was intended. Can you make the following text changes?

1.) "Look at the collections from around the world" should read:

"Look at collections from around the world"

2.) Aisle and row are the same thing. Please change the word Aisle to "Section"

3.) Seating info:

Section: 27
Row: 32
Seat: 12

4.) Date info: October 4, 1991
7:35 PM

Thank you!

Russ
