I studied your detailed brief, then I think the unique idea for your logo, According that I create some logos here, that means not only a symbol, its will depict the meaning of your activities.
I hope you will like this designs and its will reach the idea in your mind.

Your submissions are close to what I had in mind. Please consider using a more modern ticket style - the one you used is more like a raffle ticket bought at community events. Tickets used for admission to concerts, sporting events etc. usually have information such as seat, aisle, row, section, etc.
We have lots of time left - let me know if you want me to e-mail you some samples.
