NOTE FROM DESIGNER: We LOVE the zen look, but it is contrary to the golf look. Golf is bright and bold and very "garanimal-like". We're concerned that the zen look doesn't transate to bright bold colors. We're going through a process right now of figuring out our true identity, and this process of the look of the logo is helping us. Trigelle's look is clean and contemporary-esque with a country club flair...
We want clean, fun and fresh colors that would translate better to our collection. We don't necessarily need circles or shapes. We'd like to see a sans serif font.....TRINA TURK is really the look we are most similar to, but in golf. So looking at her logo, it is something we want...
PLEASE....NO CORPORATE LOOKING LOGOS, AND NO GOLF MOTIFS.
Trig, a synonym for “stylish” and elle, meaning “her” in French, combine to succinctly describe Trigelle’s designs, “Stylishly Her.”
Standing at the forefront of change in the golf industry, Trigelle, now in it’s 6th year in business, is an apparel company that designs and markets contemporary-styled high-quality women’s golfwear to upscale resorts, golf shops, and high-end retail stores all over the nation and internationally. Trigelle’s target market is the female golfer of any age searching for golfwear that makes her stand out on the golf course, yet enables her to wear the same styles on casual dressy weekends, to her workplace, as well as everyday motherhood activities.
Based out of La Quinta, CA, Trigelle was conceived because of a lack of golf apparel that reflected designer, Lulu Faddis’, sense of classic feminine style and athleticism. “I found myself settling for golf specific clothing that wasn’t me”, Faddis says. “This was a niche market that I knew had a huge void and I wanted to fill it”. Faddis hails from the mainstream contemporary market and is effective at seamlessly fusing the look with everyday golf functionality. Her designs combine functional fabrics with stylish details that women are accustomed to seeing in the everyday retail market. With previous designs sold at Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom, Faddis brings over a decade of experience in fashionable womenswear. Her passion for golf and fashion clearly shows in the collections season after season. Details such as a signature side welt pocket for small tools, deep front and back pockets, a wide, split-back contoured waistband, and a tailored waistband finishing are a staple throughout all the bottoms. The fit is form fitting yet generous, with the waist landing just under the bellybutton.
Being ecologically responsible is a goal that Trigelle continues to fulfill with their bamboo cotton sweaters. The soft hand lends itself to a silk-cashmere feel. It has been in the line since its inception in 2004 and will continue to stay.
