Community Learning Center
The community learning center is a small school in Kansas for at-risk youth from grades 9-12. It's an alternate high school for kids who have not been able to adjust to normal public schools, caused problems, got into trouble repeatedly, or just were at risk of dropping out of high school all together. The community learning center teaches students real world skills and offers them a helping hand in getting their high school diploma. The CLC also teaches them skills that will assist them in getting a job: basic math, science, reading, social skills, etc. For many of the kids, this place is the best sense of a home they've ever had.
