I am a female general contractor, and own a construction company in a small southern Tennessee town. I have been building homes for about 5 years, which has been the time of the biggest downturn in new construction sales in over 40 years. My homes have continued to sell as what I provide meets a specific need - new but affordable luxury living for young professionals. I also have a rental property company and manage my own rentals. Other than work, I am a single mom to 2 wonderful young children, I volunteer in my community and church, am a City Planning Commissioner and serve on the board of an orphanage in India.
