The Eastern Pennsylvania Greenways & Trails Summit is a two-day workshop that will be held on September 19th and 20th in Center Valley, Pennsylvania. The workshop will convene trail and greenway advocates, developers, users, and municipal supports from at least 11 counties of eastern Pennsylvania. The main goals of the psummit are promoting the regional trail network, building relationships among trail community members, and providing tools to justify trails, especially in a tough economic climate. There is a planning committee working on the summit, which is being led by the D&L Trail Alliance, a partnership between federal, state, local,non-profit, and inidivual partners to promote the stewardship and use of the 165-mile D&L Trail. www.delawareandlehigh.org
