Background: Nectar is a new med-spa, slated for launch in January of 2024, in the greater Portland, Maine area. The med-spa will provide the highest level of injections and medical grade aesthetic services, including Botox, fillers, and chemical peels. In addition, there is the potential for a white-labeled skin care line to be added in the future. Nectar’s goal is to become the leading multi-site med-spa in the US. Objective: Build a foundation for the Nectar brand with a focus on two key pillars: 1) Nectar is considered the gold star of Medspas, delivering a high-end, luxury aesthetic experience. 2) Engender loyalty with our customer base, by providing an environment that empowers all people to experience their ultimate version of beauty. Why Nectar: The name offers an alternative to the cold, more clinical aspects of injections and medical aesthetics that are found in the market today, evoking a sense of comfort and warmth. The idea of “Nectar” embodies the luxury in-spa experience we seek to create. Nectar was founded with a hope to bring medical-grade aesthetics to individuals who want to define and celebrate their own beauty, not the overdone Hollywood look. The name matches the nature-based design we are curating in the space with a nod towards optimism that we are hoping to pass between practitioners and clients. Nectar is a liquid that is smooth and rich, creating a feeling of being spoiled. Considerations: ● There are other Nectar medical spas in existence today, we will need to consider possible visual treatments or spelling variations to ensure the brand can take the leadership position. ● Lends itself to the color orange. Orange is often used to portray youth, playfulness, and being bold. Orange is usually seen as healthy, energizing, and attention-grabbing. Audience: ● Primary: women 30 - 50 years old, who are comfortable with injectables and other medical-grade aesthetics.
