City of Eloy, Arizona
Who We Are: We are a small city located in south central Arizona equidistant from Phoenix and Tucson, at the confluence of Interstate 10 and Interstate 8. We are surrounded by mountain ranges-Newman, Picacho, Silverbell, Sawtooth, and Casa Grande ranges. We also have a history in agriculture-primarily cotton, but are transitioning to other economic sectors to better suit today’s labor force. We have a strong Hispanic background, but are multi-cultural as well. Our vision for the future is: a forward thinking, culturally diverse, and sustainable community that creates and preserves parks, open space, trails and open vistas while providing a variety of employment opportunities, entertainment and recreational activities, shopping and other commercial or retail services and a variety of residential opportunities.
Slogan: The intersection of value, location and opportunity
Brand: Our brand identifies Eloy as a unique community within the State of Arizona for our existing and future residents, businesses and visitors.
Style: One that is forward thinking, progressive but appreciating and celebrating the culture, diversity and history of the community.
Color: A palette of rich earth tone color(s) that embody the desert southwest, but open to other compatible colors.
Purpose: This logo will be used on all Eloy communications including business cards, letterheads, invoices, presentation and marketing materials and other uses as determined by the staff as appropriate. This new logo should work in a number of iterations, including background colors, transparent background and be scalable. The logo must also work in both color and black and white versions.

Process: We will review all submittals and determine the top designs for community support to arrive at at several finalists for this design competition. The City Council will render a final decision.
