A charitable nonprofit providing therapeutic horseback riding lessons to people with disabilities and offering group wellness programs with horses. Our target audiences are people who can benefit from our programs, and the entire community as potential volunteers and donors. LiftMeUp! provides a safe, effective, and challenging therapeutic riding program dedicated to helping children and adults with disabilities. By combining the use of horses with the skills of certified instructors, LiftMeUp! seeks to help riders develop physically, mentally, and emotionally in a caring and fun environment that empowers the rider in very different way from traditional therapy. Riding at LiftMeUp! helps students sit and stand unassisted, walk independently, improve their focus and attention span and enhance social and communication skills. Lift Me Up's equine-assisted wellness center in a serene environment offers unmounted programs to groups. Wellness program participants work with our trained horses and instructors in group exercises to improve self awareness, decision making, problem solving and building confidence learned through herd behavior.
