HISTORY- the Corvette used in the TV show was the marquee and symbol of wandering spirit; they used many colors for the Vette in the TV show. It was a convertible rag top. The Car can have writing on it. Please notice wandering spirit as that is what the radio station is going to reflect in the programing musically and live on air . It breaks all the rules just like the guys driving the car in the series did back in the early 1960’s. This is not a retro nostalgia radio station but one that breaks the traditional rules of radio air play today music wise. Perhaps a Corvette smashing through the route 66 road sign. The car can have writing on it, the smoke or exhaust cloud can have writing on it. Basically it’s got to reflect the out of the box spirit, and we don’t like authority kind of feeling. The music mix will be vast and large and span decades all mixed together. With route 66 you never know what decade or song is going to be played next. Just keep on motoring down the highway and keep listening as songs long forgotten, Songs that are really popular, songs you never heard before but are darn good by some well known Artists get behind the wheel and mash the pedal down and toss that Hurst shifter into musical gear.
