Iron Hearth Studio
Logo Design Brief – Iron Hearth Studio / JD Custom Knives Iron Hearth Studio is a blacksmithing workshop creating hand-forged knives and custom metalwork. We also sell knives under JD Custom Knives, which already features a Celtic symbol logo. We’d like the Iron Hearth Studio logo to stand on its own but also pair well with the JD Custom Knives branding, so they feel like part of the same family. What We Do: Hand-forged knives (hunting, everyday carry, custom blades) Blacksmith-forged goods (tools, bottle openers, artistic work) Traditional craftsmanship blended with modern function Brand Values: Strength and durability (forged in fire, built to last) Heritage and authenticity (traditional blacksmith roots) Timeless artistry (functional yet beautiful) Design Guidelines: Rugged, bold, and clean – simple enough to stamp into steel or leather. Imagery ideas: anvils, hammers, fire, forge flames, knife silhouettes, or hearth/fire motifs. Must complement the JD Custom Knives Celtic logo (not compete with it). Works in single color as well as full color. Color palette: steel grey, black, deep red, bronze, or natural/earth tones. Possible Slogans (optional): “Forged in Fire, Built to Last” “Edge of Craft. Heart of Steel.” “From Hearth to Hand” Usage: Blade stamping Leather sheaths and packaging Business cards, website, and social media We want a logo that reflects rugged authenticity and precision craftsmanship, while visually tying together the Iron Hearth Studio brand with the JD Custom Knives Celtic identity.
