I serve as the Communications Manager for the Michigan State University Foundation and its subsidiaries—including Michigan Biotechnology Institute, Red Cedar Ventures, Spartan Innovations, and the University Corporate Research Park. As the Foundation’s first storyteller, my work focuses on connecting audiences and stakeholders with the vibrant, extraordinary stories happening right here in the heart of Michigan. My passion: placing the spotlight on the genius, hard work, and entrepreneurial spirit of MSU’s faculty, researchers, and students. Despite the jeers that come from being a strict adherent to the Chicago Manual of Style, I'm still permitted to speak to the press. I earned my Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from Colorado State University (Go Rams!) and my Bachelor of Arts in English and Literature from Central Michigan University (Fire Up Chips!). Today, I’m a proud, adopted Spartan. Go Green!
