Hello,
is it right, designers can not use their contributions to a private contest for showing in their portfolio?
I was just selecting a private contest, because i don't want to show all the other logos (I do not choose) in the web.
You could offer an option for CH to select if they want to give some logos the possibility to rank in the portfolios.
This could also make private contests more attractive to designers.

Private contest entries will not show anywhere on the website. The winning designer of a private contest is required to ask permission to show the logo in the portfolio (it's in the logo transfer of rights contract).
However, non-winning submissions are property of the designers and they can display their entries on their own website, etc. In practice though it's not that common, as they typically will save non-winning ideas up for future contests that might be a better match for the customer.
