Is it me, or does less than one hour seem to last for about 3 hours? What's that about?

heres a trick. try to submit a design within the last hour, and once you log in and right before you go to submit it, somehow, like magic, it ends! happenes everytime:)

Yup, "less than one hour" actually means "3 minutes less than you need". Then there's me who occasionally finds contests through clicking around, makes an award-winning entry and then realizes that it finished a week ago.
