I would like to see a search feature so I could find the answer to my question without having to start a new thread. I am certain the topic is covered someplace here.

Now that I have my logo, I want to trademark it. Since I have purchased it, do I now have the right to trademark the logo? What ancillary trademark issues should I be aware of?

Hi Yaniv, I don't know what others might have to say on this topic, but if you want help with trademark/copyright law, I think you should speak to a lawyer. You might also benefit from looking at the website for the US Trademark and Patent Office - http://www.uspto.gov/main/trademarks.htm.

thanks. I did go to uspto.gov and look around a little bit. like any govt website, it's labyrinthine. i only hope no one trademarked our name from this contest!
