Can anyone share some information on the process once your contest ends and the time frame to judge designs and the process of notifying of your selected design!!!

7 Days to decide. The Admin will than usually give you 7 more days before they step in and select a winner.

judging phase goes for one week and can be extended if necessary (you will need to contact admin in this case)
as for choosing the design, ask lots of people, show it to your friends and family and most importantly, show it to anyone you might know who has design experience, do some research, there are heaps of "what makes a good logo" blogs out there.
